Benefits of Creating Art

“I completely fell in love with the concept of this business, there was so much potential with Arty Club and an endless amount of possibilities that I could do with it. Pottery painting is not something people tend to talk about nor heard of, it’s a very old school acitivity and I really wanted to bring that back into peoples lives because its such a great activity for all ages. We are all so wrapped up in our busy day-to-day lives of working, social life, gyming, yoga, phones and technology that I really wanted to bring something real back and for people to create something visual. Very few of us take time out to explore and express the creative side of ourselves and painting is very therapeutic output. After 15 minutes of painting ( with having self discipline of course) it becomes almost like a meditation. Personally, creating art makes me feel so mentally clear and present. Art therapy is excellent for mental health and in some cases is more effective than psychotherapy. I really believe that painting and drawing is a form of meditation and with the wellness boom continuing to grow, I think creating Art could be considered to have similar mental health benefits as practising yoga”
